The Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent roster is filled with all sorts of people, many of whom have been in the market for a long, long time. It can be frustrating to work with a Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent, who has been entrenched in the market for so long that he or she has forgotten what it’s like to be new to a city with all of the confusion that goes along with a move.

I enjoy offering the perspective from both sides, newcomer and established resident.  Even though I'm relatively new to the area,  I also know it very well.  How is that possible, you ask?  Because I lived in Charleston nearly 30 years ago, and then returned in 2004 as a Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent.  Being new to the area again places me in the unique position of being able to understand the challenges that face you in looking for a new home in the area - either as a second home/investment property or as a new primary residence. It’s been great joining the ranks of the Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent field, and I really do enjoy using what I’ve learned to help people who are new to the area.  I’ve been there!

I’m also very excited about my new role in the Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent arena working with Akers, Ellis & Truluck in the Kiawah and Seabrook Islands area, as well as The Greater Charleston Area. These two resort islands practically invented the idea of living in harmony with the gorgeous natural beauty of the Coastal Islands, and provide a long list of amenities that help you achieve a lifestyle that is hard to match anywhere else in the country. Come for a visit and you will understand what I mean. I do warn you that you might not want to leave!

Of course Charleston has so many wonderful choices to fit almost any lifestyle! That’s probably what drew me back more than anything else. The natural beauty surrounds you wherever you go. The temperate climate is refreshing. And, the historical and cultural offerings combine to embody a lifestyle that is hard to duplicate anywhere else. Helping new people discover the area makes my job as a Charleston, SC, Real Estate Agent so enjoyable.
